The Wisconsin Log Homes Experience embraces the entire project - from architectural design through construction. We also have an Interior Designer on staff to assist you with product and color selections and interior furnishings.

2. PREPLANNING
The Wisconsin Log Homes Experience begins with our Home Consultants outlining our Planning Smart Process, a proven beginning-to-end design and building guide to your dream home. Our goal is to understand your visions, and to create a home that exceeds your highest standards.

3. DESIGNING YOUR HOME PLAN
Designing your home is the most critical step in the journey. Before beginning, we must first understand your ideas, your lifestyle, and your budget. Our Home Consultants will take the time to help you establish the conceptual parameters for your home. Once priorities are in place, our Design Department will produce your preliminary plans. 4. ESTABLISHING YOUR TIMELINE
The timeline for designing and building your custom home is dependent upon many factors (not all of them relating to construction) – from building permit procurement, to local weather patterns. We believe it’s better to do it right, rather than right now. We will establish a realistic timeline based upon all the considerations unique to your project.

5. CREATING WORKING DRAWINGS
Once you approve the preliminary designs, our Architectural Design Department will prepare the final drawings necessary to build your Wisconsin Log Home. These drawings include the necessary information for obtaining your building permits. We will also work with your local officials to make certain that your drawings will be in compliance with structural codes applicable to your building location.

6. PRODUCTION & DELIVERY
Upon the completion and approval of your final working drawings, Wisconsin Log Homes will begin the production of the log and timber components needed for your home. We will also establish a tentative ship date. Delivery begins after the excavation, foundation and entrance road are complete.

7. CONSTRUCTION
When it comes to the actual building of your home, there’s no better choice than Wisconsin Log Homes to get the job done right.
